Anders Bülow (DK) + Kristine Tillge Lund (DK)

OPENING Saturday the 11th of December 13:00 - 17:00

Exhibition dates
11.12.21 - 12.02.22

A warm welcome to the work of Anders Bülow and Kristine Tillge Lund into the space at the chilly beginning of December.

This month Stereo Exchange clandestinely conducts pieces of the artist's practices together, bridging the material divide of ceramics and painting, pigment and glaze and floating them into their resting places within the walls of the space.

Three Slabs of refined clay hang stoically at the wall, lathered in high gloss auto lacquer and stuffed with soil and gravel, playing on traditions of ceramics and the proletariat. Pushing over to the opposing wall we feel the fogged mystic glass obscuring embossed paintings that reflect between sculpture and image making.

In this, the last show of 2021 in Stereo Exchange, take a solid seat on a moulded slab and experience the welding of distant practices, materials and ideas into a Stereo Exchange experience, with the artist on the spot at the opening.

As our regulars would attest, Stereo Exchange's exhibition production proves to remove itself from explanation and to let others' imagination run into the combination of the works, without providing bias and to instead place itself as the third abstraction i.e. the artist, the work, the space and the onlooker.

The exhibition will be open from the 11th of December 2021.

It will be closed through the Christmas and new year breaks and reopen at the beginning of January and run through that month.
